Добрый день! Скажите, почему вы сняли шаблон о переименовании? "Украина" по-английски пишется "Ukraine", а не "Ukrain". --Yegor Osin (talk) 02:59, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Ну так это не основное слово в названии. К тому же интуитивно понятно, что имеется в виду. Вообще, если переименовывать, то и остальные 26 районов области тоже. Займусь этим на выходных.--Anatoliy (talk) 10:14, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

No filmover abuse

You're completely mistaken about the reason this was moved. User:Bechamel requested the move saying the name was offensive. I figured the word "parade" might seem offensive when the image appears to show bowing slaves or servants. You should read the summary before accusing me of something that's not at all true. Thanks. thank you first of all for identifying this File:Fußballländerspiel Österreich-Ukraine (01.06.2012) 32.jpg image with the player name. Because I am not so a great football expert maybe you can help me to identify also the other players of the ukrainian football team I have shoot in the Exhibition game Austria vs. Ukraine at 1st. June 2012. In the press conference I have made a picture of this mister. Did you know him? Is this the co-coach? Thank you and best regards. Я не совсем понял ту сттью ГК РФ, но в любом случае применять нужно украинские законы. У нас из ГК статьи, касающиеся АП, исключили ещё в начале 90-х, так что искать нужно в Законе об авторском праве и смежных правах.Anatoliy (talk) 17:01, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Prelude in C sharp minor (Rachmaninoff)

Good day. Could you please explain the speedy deletion without discussion of Prelude in C sharp minor (Rachmaninoff)? Of course the 1919 US Edison recording is PD, so did you delete because the composition is still under copyright? 1892 publication in Moscow, not {{PD-RusEmpire}}? Well, I calculate the term as 70 years from author's death. He died in 1943, so image will be in PD since 2014 year. P.S. And where you find the date 1892? In image description there are only 1919 and 1920.--Anatoliy (talk) 22:56, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
1892 is the first publication of Rachmaninoff's composition "Prelude in C-sharp minor". Since the 1919 US recording for Edison Records is obviously public domain (both {{PD-US}} and {{PD-Edison Records}} apply), I was assuming you deleted because of some copyright of the underlying composition. I got the date of first publication of the composition from the en:W article en:Prelude in C-sharp minor (Rachmaninoff). The 70 years from death would apply to his works which haven't already gone into the public domain for some other reason (such as his works done while in the US covered by US law which have become PD-US, and I think also early publications which would be {{PD-RusEmpire}}, no?) I think this can be undeleted now, or should we take this to undeletion/deletion requests? -- Infrogmation (talk) 18:46, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Also note, even after 70 years from death, some of Rachmaninoff's late works, like en:Symphonic Dances (Rachmaninoff) (ru:Симфонические танцы (Рахманинов)) can still be under copyright when they were first published in the USA and the heirs have renewed the copyrights.   • У продовження теми про Вікімапію, будь ласка, вилучи File:Zaporizhia Tytan Stadium.jpg. Адміни Вікімапії, виявляється, погано знайомі з авторським правом, бо це копівіо з Панораміо. Решту світлин я перевіряв перед завантаженням, а цю забув, а потім помітив, що цей користувач завантажив на Вікімапію фото з десь десятка різних альбомів на Панораміо. Я розумію, що можна списати це на проблеми адмінів Вікімапії, але ж у випадку flickrwashing ми вилучаємо фото, а не списуємо на адмінів Флікра — NickK (talk) 13:09, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

    Ну так нащо, якщо очевидно, що воно порушує авторські права? В них, схоже, ніхто це не контролює, і той же File:ЦС «Чорноморець».jpg, наприклад, вкрадений з офіційного сайту, а автор явно не має прав на нього (бо є адміністратором миколаївського районного сайту, а не сайту «Чорноморця») — NickK (talk) 13:31, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

    Я перевіряв через Google Images, можна й через tineye. Для переважної більшості об'єктів, особливо «периферійних» (стадіон десь на околиці, станція в якомусь селі тощо) там явно власні роботи, однак мене насторожило, наприклад, що автор фото з Запоріжжя завантажив три фото з трьох різних фотоапаратів — NickK (talk) 16:22, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
