Remerciement[edit]

Bonjour @Abalg et merci pour vos votes. Malheureusement légalement, sans autorisations des auteurs des photos, les fichiers sont heu hum, je ne sais pas comment le dire, illégaux, interdits, hors la loi, inautorisés quoi, et cela même si j'en suis l'auteure, ce qui me paraît étrange quand je constate qu'il est plus facile de conserver un fichier dont on n'est pas l'auteur. Mais c'est comme ça. Je ne pense pas qu'ils seront conservés et c'est peut-être préférable au fond... Car obtenir des autorisations serait compliqué et chronophage. De mon côté une Wikipause ne sera pas de trop, pour revenir un jour dans de meilleures conditions ! Merci encore et bonne continuation ! Olga Rithme (talk) 07:58, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bonjour Olga Rithme, je pense que ce sont des cas limites qui peuvent être sauvés. On verra bien ce que diront les autres contributeurs. Comme dans toutes relations, il est parfois nécessaire de s'aérer l'esprit. J'ai fait plusieurs pauses dont une qui a duré 8 ans et j'ai fortement ralentie ces 2 derniers mois. Hello, and welcome to Wikimedia Commons! Thank you for you contributions. When you add categories generally just use the most specific category. For example if you categorize an image of a yellow circle, it should generally only be in Category:Yellow circles and not also Category:Yellow shapes or Category:Circles, thank you. Yes, I'm agree with your exemple. But it's not a representative one of our problem. What if you have ONE composed image with yellow, red, blue and green circles? The current version has removed an additional category that is not a part of of Mutillidae. In addition, this image will no longer appear under the actual species categories when this is the only image available of a couple of those species. Categorizing each represented portion of an image as specifically as possible is standard practice on Wikimedia Commons. You can see this principle in use on File:Three_Circles.svg and most any other composite image of biological specimens. What benefit is there for Commons in removing more specific information? Hello Lhikan634. Are you really criticising me for deleting categories? Let's keep the image in the Mutilidae family category AND the species category. By that way, we'll be able to meet the objectives of making the montage representative of the family and the species precisions.
