This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Commons.

Do not request deletions without a valid reason. Thanks, Yann (talk) 21:26, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You've done this again, so you have now been blocked for 1 month. Storkk (talk) 10:48, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
LOL really?! Storkk, did you even read my edit summary? [1] The image appears on the Movimiento Autonomista website, it is a copyvio. I forgot to actually mention it on the template. By the way, other images extracted with no authorization from the Mov. Auto. whom I tagged were deleted, you could see my deleted contributions?
The fact that I did not respond Yann's warning does not mean I don't know what I am doing. Please unblock. --201.215.141.30 16:14, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Unblock request granted

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, and one or more administrators has reviewed and granted this request.

Request reason: "per above"
Unblock reason: "Blocks are not punitive, so given that you have assented to provide actual rationales for all future deletion requests, I can acquiesce to this unblock. Note that copyvio tags without explanation will be seen as vandalism. Storkk (talk) 17:29, 20 August 2017 (UTC)"[reply]
This template should be archived normally.

I read your edit summary, yes, and found it mildly condescending and not actually helpful. It is customary to point to an actual location (ie. a URL) where the violating image can be found. Expecting others to go googling around for you is a bit much, especially when undoing an edit and not even adding the information the second time. I was going to simply leave you a message like Yann's, but then found that you have engaged in this type of behavior before. I would be prepared to unblock you if you commit to always adding a specific URL in the future. Storkk (talk) 16:20, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
For sure, it might have been my bad, I'll start adding URLs. --201.215.141.30 16:35, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You can start here and now, before you're unblocked. Where do you see this image? I've had a cursory look at http://movimientoautonomista.cl/web/ and don't find it. How many of their links should I be clicking to guess where it is? Storkk (talk) 16:37, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
When I initially tagged it, the image was featured on the main page slideshow. It has since been removed... --201.215.141.30 16:58, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to unblock you with the following provisos. These are expected of all users, but your unblock is conditional on your compliance: 1) you will add accurate locations to any deletions you request in the future, in fact all deletions you request will have full rationales; 2) when a speedy deletion has been declined, you will not re-nominate the same file for speedy deletion (especially not by undoing an edit), instead bringing it to a full DR if you still believe it qualifies for deletion. Hello. This is a reminder for you that it is important to address the identified issues instead of simply removing legitimate warnings and notices from your talk page. Removing messages does not remove them from the talk page's history. You are encouraged instead to archive past discussions according to our community guidelines. You can have this done automatically for you -- simply place {{subst:User:Jeff G./usertalksetup}} or {{subst:autoarchive resolved section/usertalksetup}} at the top of your user talk page and then old messages will be archived after 1 month (see User:MiszaBot/usertalksetup for more details). If you have received warnings for copyright issues, please familiarize yourself with our policy on licensing. You can also ask for help at the village pump or the help desk if you need assistance.
