Your IP address, 2001:2003:54FA:2F79:0:0:0:1, is registered to Telia Finland Oyj, and may be shared by multiple users, so you might receive messages that are not intended for you. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

To have your own userpage and gain access to other special features, create an account! It's fast and free. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of severe vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be forwarded to your network administrator for further investigation.

Hello! I've seen some of your edits, and I really appreciate the contributions you're making to Commons. I'm glad you're helping the project! You may wish to consider creating an account. It's quick, free, and anonymous (you don't have to give away any real-world information about yourself).

When you're logged in, you can do many things that unregistered users cannot, such as creating new pages, uploading media content, moving pages and keeping track of changes to articles you edit frequently. It helps the community, too—other users will be more likely to remember who you are when you have an account name.

If you want more information on the benefits of creating an account, see this page. And once you've registered, please drop me a message and say hi! Don't forget to sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (or by clicking on the button) ~~~~.

You edited over a long-period using multiple ip's, such as:

Please create an account, it is easier to track your edit&talkpage history and if you're edits are good we can assign autopatrolled so we don't have to patrol your edits by hand. Thanks. Steinsplitter (talk) 15:15, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Steinsplitter: Is this specifically about my recent contributions, or a general request? If you need to know my previous edits not under this dynamic IP-address, I can contact you privately about it. 2001:2003:54FA:2F79:0:0:0:1 15:22, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • General request, but you may drop me a mail if you have any questions: steinsplitter(ät)wikipedia(dot)de. If you want to register an account you may do so - it is completely private and you are reducing patroller's work. Best --Steinsplitter (talk) 15:26, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • I was thinking of slowing down now for today anyway, after the past two or three hours of recent changes at fast pace. I make no promise of contributing under a registered account for personal reasons however, but will aim to disclose editing on the same subjects under different IPs.

I do try to check back on previous talk pages at random intervals. My dynamic IP-address has changed more frequently this month due to few hardware issues, requiring reboots.

I've also used the MediaWiki patrolling tools in the past at some scale, so I understand your concern too. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. 2001:2003:54FA:2F79:0:0:0:1 15:43, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
