Stolpersteine in Salzburg

Hallo Markus, ich habe bei einigen Gebäuden in Salzburg die Stolperstein Kategorie entfernt (z.B. [1]), mir erscheint es nicht sinnvoll, diese Kategorie für Bilder zu vergeben, die vielleicht etwas mit dem Namen auf einem Stolperstein zu tun haben, oder wo der Stolperstein ev. mit der Lupe auszumachen ist (Vielleicht kannst du ja die Steine im Bild markieren). In diese Kategorie gehören mE nur Bilder, wo man die Aufschrift auf dem Stolperstein lesen kann.

@Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Salzburg: Entweder ist das Bild bereits einer Kategorie zu einem denkmalgeschützten Objekt zugeordnet (File:Stolperstein Salzburg, Andräkirche (Mirabellplatz 5).jpg), dann gehört diese Kat nicht nochmals auf das einzelne Bild. Oder es gibt eine solche Kategorie für das denkmalgeschützte Objekt nicht, dann braucht es die id {{Doo}} in der Bildbeschreibung (File:Stolperstein Salzburg, Wohnhaus Pfeifergasse 4.jpg). Hallo Herzi Pinki, ich füg die Stolperstein Kategorie deshalb zu den Wohnhäusern weil es sich hierbei um die Häuser handelt vor denen die Stolpersteine verlegt wurde. Ich bin kein Freund Bilder die mE zusammen gehören durch Kategorien wieder zu trennen... Daher finde ich deine Lösung jetzt neue Kategorien nach Hausnummern zu erstellen sehr elegant! Und zu den Denkmalnummern werde ich mich bemühen diese auch noch in die Bildbeschreibung aufzunehmen. LG --1971markus ⇒ Laberkasten ... 22:43, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
Die Kategorie heißt Category:Stolpersteine in Salzburg, ist eine Objektkategorie und da gehören nur Bilder hinein, die Stolpersteine in Salzburg zeigen. Oder Unterkategorien mit solchen Bildern, also etwa Stolpersteine nach Bezirk. Oder Menschen beim Verlegen solcher Stolpersteine. Bilder von Häusern oder Kategorien zu Gebäuden sind keine Stolpersteine und gehören da nicht hinein. Das ist also nicht die Kategorie, in der Bilder zusammengehören. Wenn eine Kategorie pro Gebäude (wenn mehr als 2 Bilder, IMHO) für dich passt, dann ist es gut. Die Kategorie pro Gebäude ist auch viel leichter zu warten, als deine other_versions. Bitte schau, bevor du eine Kategorie anlegst, ob sie eventuell schon existiert und hab ein Erbarmen auch mit den Bildern des Gebäudes, die nicht von dir stammen. lg --Herzi Pinki (talk) 22:56, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
Hallo Herzi Pinki, ich bin da etwas anderer Meinung. Die Stolpersteine werden gezielt an einer bestimmten Adresse verlegt mit der Aufschrift HIER WOHNTE, oder HIER WIRKTE etc, somit gehören mMn die Häuser auch mit in die Kategorie. Wie gesagt meine Meinung, ich kann aber auch damit leben wenn du andrer Meinung bist und die Kategorien entfernst... LG --1971markus ⇒ Laberkasten ... 23:20, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
Schau zum Vergleich mal in anderen Städten, ob da die Häuser als Stolpersteine kategoerisiert sind. Mir ist das bisher noch nicht untergekommen. Aber es ist gut, dass du die Verlegestelle und die Umgebung mitfotografierst. lg --Herzi Pinki (talk) 23:31, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.

Landaulet Kutsche

Landaulet may be a part of its correct name but this vehicle is not a landaulet and cannot be classified as such. Your ref "horse droshke indulgent relationship. The one-span half-covered landaulet carriages were the typical hatchback vehicles of old berlin. They represent an ubiquitous appearance around 1900. usually they had seen better days" with the help to me of Google translate, does not make it clear.

Are you quite sure this sign belongs to the vehicle in the picture?

Where does the landaulet part of its name come from? Can you provide another citation? Can you provide one other photograph of a similar vehicle and of the same type-name? Thanks and regards, Eddaido (talk) 19:25, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
