Request reason: "I just started using commons, I am new here. I just found out about this website today. (I have been on Wikipedia before though). I am not the other guy who kept vandalizing. Besides, after reviewing policy, there are two problems with the block. One, IP addresses are not supposed to be blocked indefinitely or infinitely. On English Wikipedia, the block for this IP is six months, not forever. Two, administrators are not supposed to issue an unblock decline on a block they made; they are supposed to defer to other administrators. While some sort of punishment is appropriate, such as an anonymous block, I think that others should be able to edit from this IP as it is shared by many people. Please shorten the block. Thank you."

I just found Wikimedia Commons a few days ago, I have used Wikipedia many many times in the past, and I would assume policies are the same here.
