Vixe! Descobriu meu nome!!! Sem querer eu pus uma credit line nas fotos que eu carreguei (e foram umas 3 000). No caso em questão, Érico, o mapa que eu carreguei é um trabalho derivado. Olhando pra um trabalho derivado do meu - search "Jbribeiro1" de um colega não me parece o mesmo. Fiz mer...? E não entendi nada esse negócio de mãe! Meteu no meio a mãe é caso pra porrada!!! Picture of the Year voting round 1 open[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

  1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
  2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
  3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

I think you should block in whatever way you feel happy. IPs do change so I will never block an IP for more than a year. Mostly the spambots use abused proxies. If you don't already try the google button on the IP contribs page - that is what it is there for :) - and that will give you information on abuse usually. To me if it is abused a month is ok for a starter block. If it comes up again I'd go for 3 or 6 months. If google gives lots of hits then I might start with 3 months sometimes. Estou numa tarefa semelhante, na Category:Images from Ministério da Cultura do Brazil to check: movendo imagens, renomeando, criando categorias. O bom é que nossa Wiki acaba se enriquecendo. Hoje pus uma imagem na Wiki da Indonésia — um político de lá veio a um evento aqui e foi clicado. Até eu ficar de "papo" cheio, está divertido. Abraço. Hi, the file you deleted was just a modification I made from File:Simple harmonic oscillator.gif by putting in different parameters so it would fit into the article w:de:Schwingung. Boa tarde, Sou novo no wikimedia e estou um pouco perdido no procedimento para carregar imagens com direitos autorais de outra pessoa. Eu carreguei um conjunto de imagens como por exemplo a Anaximandro Amorim Oficial.JPG que foi marcada como sem licença por você.

Gostaria de saber qual é o procedimento para restaurar a foto e adicionar a licença, considerando que eu tenho permissão do próprio Anaximandro Amorim (dono das imagens) para utilizar elas.

Eu vi alguns artigos que explicavam um procedimento, como esse aqui: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:OTRS Mas achei extremamente confuso. Quero colaborar com o wiki e se você poder me ajudar a entender esse procedimento vou ficar muito agradecido. Olá Érico Júnior Wouters! Me parece que esta imagem não é da Agência Brasil. É - como declarado - obra de "divulgação Deivid Dutra / A Razão", fotógrafo do jornal A Razão. Pelo que vi a foto circulou no site deste jornal em 27/01/2013 às 10:23 enquanto a galeria da Agência Brasil tem data e horário de 27/01/2013 11:29. Ou: .jpg (arazao.com.br) = last modified: 27 de janeiro de 2013, 13:06:46 versus .jpg (ebc.com.br) = last modified: 27 de janeiro de 2013, 14:31:26. You deleted File:The Stables at Chawton House -a.jpg and File:Chawton House, estate cottages -a.jpg. These were two of about a dozen images I uploaded of the estate of Jane Austen`s brother. I spent a couple of hours searching flickr for images of Chawton House published under free CC licenses.

I didn`t get a heads-up on the missing information your deletion log mentions. If information was missing I believe it could be restored from the flickr pages, referenced on the {{Information}} template.

"Own work" estranhos[edit]

Gostaria, se possível, que desse uma olhada nas contas Clécio Brito (talk · contribs) e ClécioGabriel (talk · contribs)

Há dias, marquei como VDA algumas fotos postadas pelo primeiro. Misteriosamente, uma dessas fotos (File:Fernandamontenegro.jpg) apareceu numa conta do Flickr e assim foi baixada para cá pela segunda conta acima (para mim, um é WP:PATO do outro).

Mais curiosamente, a conta do Flickr hospeda também outra foto, da Xuxa, que mandei eliminar ontem.

Muita coincidência, não é? Tenho a forte impressão de que essa conta do Flickr seja uma ponte falsa, criada para "lavar VDA", entende? Como não posso visualizar os arquivos eliminados, passo a bola para vc examinar.

Sampa city[edit]

Prezado, preciso de sua ajuda (linguística, inclusive).

Tentei mover o conteúdo de Category:São Paulo City para Category:São Paulo city, à semelhança de Category:Rio de Janeiro city e outras (em que "City" não faz parte do nome).

Para isso, usei "category redirect", mas o user:Foroa reverteu minhas edições, com explicações não muito claras (veja aqui nosso diálogo).

Será que consegue destrinchar para mim o que é preciso para mover o conteúdo para a categoria com nome correto?

Imagens e direitos[edit]

Ola Erico. Notei que voce deletou 2 imagens que eu acrescentei a 2 artigos recentemente (Nivea e Mirra Chair), com a informacao de que estava "Missing essential information such as license". Eu achava que tinha feito o procedimento certo, selecionando o commons adequado e dizendo que era meu proprio trabalho, pois fui eu quem tirei as fotos (o que pode ser comprovado pelos dados EXIF exibidos na pagina das imagens). Talvez por parecerem fotos profissionais seja dificil de acreditar, mas fui eu mesmo que tirei as fotos. Gostaria de sugerir que da proxima vez voce possa comunicar na minha pagina qualquer informacao faltante, ao inves de deletar as imagens.

Apoio seu trabalho de tentar fazer a Wikipedia ficar limpa de imagens roubadas da internet, mas lembre-se de que algumas das imagens publicadas sao legitimas. Eh dificil produzir conteudo de qualidade, toma tempo, equipamento e trabalho, mas estas contribuicoes devem ser incentivadas ao inves de eliminadas do Wikipedia.

Tá difícil continuar, colega.

Estou tentando organizar imagens com nomes genéricos, como "vista geral", "vista panorâmica" etc. (que não dizem nada), aí vem um cidadão e diz que estou sendo "disruptivo" — e injustamente, porque eu deixo o nome antigo como direcionamento, ao contrário do que ele afirma.

Sinceramente não me sinto encorajado a voltar (e não sei se continuo com a filemover flag). É possível que minha "ferrugem" no inglês esteja me atrapalhando.

De qualquer forma, agradeço pelo apoio neste curto período.

Realmente, estava de cabeça quente quando respondi, mas aquele editor me tirou do sério, me chamando de vândalo sem nem mesmo checar se eu estava eliminando os redirects (aliás, a opção "manter direcionamento" vem marcada por padrão, e não conseguiria desmarcá-la nem se quisesse). Ele só leu a mensagem anterior, que afirmava isso, e já veio ameaçando.
Quanto àquelas fotos, realmente estão fora de propósito, puro narcisismo do "Lord Q". Talvez seja o caso de perguntar, aos que o acusaram de má-fé, para que serviriam.
Bem, desculpe lhe torrar a paciência. Vou tentar contemporizar. Talvez me afaste alguns dias, até as coisas esfriarem (minha cabeça, inclusive).

Hello there! Thanks for acting on my duplicate request. But there is a small issue: I wanted File:Yeomenposter1997.jpg to be deleted, because its name is incorrect (it should be 1897 and not 1997) and not very good anyway. I changed the name while moving in Commons Helper but it did not work for some reason, so I uploaded a new one with the better name (File:The Yeomen of the Guard poster by Dudley Hardy.jpg‎) which I wanted to keep. I also added to it new description, license, and categories that are now gone because they were not merged with the old file after deletion. So, can you please reverse the process and restore File:The Yeomen of the Guard poster by Dudley Hardy.jpg and delete File:Yeomenposter1997.jpg instead? Gostaria de chamar à sua atenção este (repetido) pedido de recuperação de uma imagem. Esta mostrava parte da platéia numa convenção partidária do P.M.D.B., e era a única da respetiva categoria a mostrar apoiantes anónimos, ao invés de manda-chuva. Apesar de eu ter argumentado com esse ponto, a foto foi apagada, tida por irrelevante e sem interesse enciclopédico (contrastando com o modo como fotos semelhantes de outros países são consideradas), e a sua recuperação subsequentemente pedida foi recusada, por «falta de apoio».
