The Castle

The site of the Medieval Castle has formed the nucleus of civilization on the Island of Paros since the 4th Millennium B.C. until the present. Visible stones are mostly from the early classical period, 5th century BC. The Duke of Naxos (Duke of Archipelagos) has given in 1260 classic remains of the Temple of Athena and Kore totally rebuilt: were made castle.
