Akrotiri

English: Cycladic Late Bronze Age in Thera (Fira, Santorini) = Minoan civilization.

In Akrotiri and surroundings, however, was even older Cycladic settlement, of which are also findings.

Note the differences dated: In the Museum of Prehistoric Thera (Phira, Santorini) are analogous exhibits dating as a hundred years older. The difference probably is related to problems about dating the volcanic explosion of Thera.
