I'm a teen from Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. I am a Type 1 Diabetic, and I have been for 3 years. I'm a supporter of the New Democratic Party at the federal and provincial level overall, but I approve of my Liberal representatives. I'm fluent in English, and I know a little bit of French as well. I hope to learn Kashubian one day, and I am also teaching myself the Cyrillic Alphabet. I've also dabbled in Polish, German, and Russian.
I consider myself a very political person, and I seek the news constantly from a variety of sources, no matter what the source's beliefs are (I love the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and the society section of the National Post simultaneously). I am an avid gamer, and I mostly stick to Xbox 360 Games, or PC games, if my poor laptop can handle it. My favourite game is actually an old gem from 1997, Twinsen's Odyssey. I have an interest in Soviet and Communist propaganda (I'm not sure why), and I am a fan of coin collecting. My collection contains over 200 pieces that I have accumulated since my childhood, my oldest being from the Roman Era. I used to play hockey, until my health kept me from doing so. One of my biggest interests and influences is my heritage. Aside from being Italian and British on my father's side, I am fiercely proud of my Kashubian ancestry on my mother's side. I have traced my lineage 10 generations back, to the mid-1850's.
