I've been trying to upload photographs of my father, Wallace A. Ross to the page I created about him to provide information about the fact that he founded the Clio Awards and was an important force in the revolutionizing of the advertising industry in the 1950s through early 1970s. I am the heir to his estate, and I inherited his photographs. I do not know who took these photographs, so I can't give them credit, even though I wish I could! I was told by a librarian that --since I am the sole owner of these photos, and that they are from the 1950s, and he has been dead for over 40 years, that I should hold the copyright to them. Please advise: other wikipedia users keep challenging my right to post these photos, and I would like to figure out the right way to do it.
