About me[edit]

Mark David Thompson

I am the president of a non-profit organization called NAMOS BC (Northern Amphibian Monitoring Outpost Society)[1]. I received my BSc in Wildlife Biology in 1998 from UNBC. Completed my MSc thesis entitled 'Phylogeography of the long-toed salamander' at the University of Calgary in 2003. I am a father of a boy, I work as a geneticist[2], and I am also a part-time graduate student slowly chipping away at my MEd on ecoliteracy. I also hold budgets and conduct research on amphibian ecology in forests near the University of Northern British Columbia[3].
