Hi Taivo, the speedy-deletion of this image AND its talkpage wasn't prudent IMO, as this image is heavily used externally. All these re-users are now exposed to copyright-litigation, as they relied on the uploaders claim of a free license at time of upload in 2021. On the talkpage I had listed a number of these re-users. Having trouble adding categories with HotCat in mobile mode

Hello there,

Starting yesterday, when I try to add a category, or more than one category, to a file using HotCat on a mobile device, I've been getting a message reading The editor will now load. If you still see this message after a few seconds, please reload the page. When I hit "reload the page", the categories I wanted to add disappear from the editing box. I've heard of the same message appearing on Wikipedia when some editors tried to undo a change in mobile mode recently (see w:Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Undo tool not working on mobile). Oh. Anyway, I know this is unrelated to HotCat, but you stated that I was blocked from another project due to "continuing to ping other users after request to stop pinging other editors".

You are allowed to write on other users talkpages. However, do not bring problems from other projects into Commons. If there are problems in other projects, please write to user talkpages in other projects, not in Commons. If you are blocked in these projects, then you must avoid mentioning these problems. Remember: if you are blocked in some projects, then you are not allowed pointing to problems in these projects. If these problems are serious, then somebody other will notice and fix then. Vandalism of File:Coat of arms of Morocco.svg

At the time of writing, the current version of this file is not accurate. Various users have reverted this file without valid reasoning. As is the case for other coats of arms, some governments use Wikimedia renditions of coats of arms regardless of their accuracy. This version of the file, by MakhzenHuman and Bongo4561, is more accurate to the original coat of arms, as pointed out by other reliable users, such as Fenn-O-maniC.

A user named Knowledgebyme, who has a history of copyright violations, keeps reverting this file to an older version without valid reasoning.

Hey, can I ask you (Taivo, not Surjection) a belated question? Why exactly is "soliciting proxy edits on [my] behalf" (for any project for which I'm blocked) considered disruptive? See, the reason I did that in the past was to try to ensure that I wouldn't feel the temptation to evade a block. So if block evasion is disruptive, why would soliciting proxy edits on another WMF wiki be equally disruptive?? See inimene pöördus ka minu poole selle sama faili osas. Sai tuvastatud, et pöördumine näib mõistlik ja fail on autoriõiguste rikkumine. Samas näib, et antud kasutaja faile on ka varem kustutatud, sest nende puhul on leitud autoriõiguste rikkumisi.
