Hi Taivo, I'm new at this so apologies in advance for all the mistakes I'm making! You deleted a photo file:Sarah B Henderson - 1.jpg which I uploaded to Dr. Henderson's wiki page. I took that photo.  Not done. Every previously published file must have evidence of free license, for example OTRS-permission. The file was previously published under license "© 2021, Terrace Standard and Black Press Group Ltd. All rights reserved." (click link "Terms of use"). So your claim, that you are the photographer, needs evidence. Please open COM:OTRS link and look, what kind of e-mail should be sent into Commons permissions department at permission-commons@wikimeida.org. Hey, you added my 3 photos for speedy deletion, with no evidence of copyright it only says suspected. why suspect these images can please tell.

Let me give you the details of images

  1. Purushottam Express image - This one i clicked on 9 December last year at New Delhi Railway Station at 22:12 with my Samsung Mobile Phone
  2. Bhubaneswar Rajdhani image - That i click on my journey to Bhubaneswar at Gaya, Bihar, North India on Jan 2019
  3. Bandra Special Rajdhani - This i got on 2017 December in Mumbai

It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Hi, Taivo. Thank you for reviewing the DR written in Japanese. You stated keeping the file because this file is different from the Imachizu[1][2]. I have some question of this file.

At first, what did you mean "the left side building"? Imachizu's file contains the gate in front of the main building. The commons one may have been cropped from Imachizu as zooming in the center. Your mentioned building looks the corner of the gate to me. Second, these files have a same point. The point is the woman wearing a white mask beside the left gate. It's hard to think there are a coincidence of that in public space the people appear in the same way. Please share your opinion. Regards, --Netora (talk) 16:14, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

Files of MRichards01[edit]

This is the first time I have commented on a talk page so please let me know if I am doing it correctly. A heap of images that I uploaded have been deleted. In most cases, I am the person who took the photo including file:Death adder.jpg and file:Vivipary strawberries.jpg. I did reply on the talk pages for those images but perhaps I did it incorrectly. Having the images deleted is frustrating simply because of the time involved in adding content to wiki, especially if I have clicked on one of the suggested requests to fulfil it only to have the content deleted. How do I prove that I took the photos? The strawberry photo for example was literally taken up the road from my house at a nearby strawberry picking farm. Did I click the wrong box when saying they were open access? MRichards01 (talk) 03:18, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

I deleted both files, because I did not believe own work. They were small photos without EXIF data and this is typical to copyright violations. In addition, both photos were previously published. You commented on talkpages of both deletion requests, but this was wrong venue and I did not see your comments at all. Fortunately P199 saw your comments and answered to you. So you have now two options. At first, you can open COM:VRT page and look, what kind of e-mail should be sent to our permissions department at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. After receiving and accepting the permission e-mail(s) the files will be restored, you do not need to re-upload them. At second, you can re-upload the photos with full size and complete EXIF data. Then we will believe own work. Your last question – both files are really openly accessible, but this does not mean, that you can upload them into Commons.
