After the WMF team evaluated the quality of edits made through the Computer-aided tagging tool they decided to shut it down.

After community discussions, it was decided to mass revert edits made through the Computer-aided tagging tool:

User:SchlurcherBot has completed these edits.

Details[edit]

A total of 1'488'983 revision changes were performed through the Computer-aided tagging tool. Each change will be assessed as follows:

  1. Has the structured data claim added been already removed → no action needed
  2. Has the user opted out of this process or was automatically opted out (as per below) → no action needed
  3. Is the claim still existing → claim will be removed

Opt-out[edit]

All users that had, as of December 2023, one of the following roles are automatically opted-out of this mass revert:

  • Administrators
  • Patrollers
  • Rollbackers

Note: Additions to the list are not monitored in real time, so some delay may be expected.

Revert the revert[edit]

If you think a specific claim should be kept, please revert the bot edit directly. The bot will not re-visit pages after an initial action or if no action according to the above logic was performed. This is a one-time check/action.
