Problematic use of cat-a-lot

Hi, this edit (there are many of them, as you used cat-a-lot) just look wrong to me. Quality Images in <Place> categories have nothing to do with specific categories of the location. Kai3952, I had only been editing on the Commons a few months, since January 2016, when I made those edits and made many mistakes. My knowledge has improved using coordinates on maps and Google translate. Hopefully I corrected the categories on those images correctly just now. Many apologies to you for any trouble. Kai3952, I don't know enough about the geography of the area to be more precise. Now I don't even try to categorize images from that part of the world, unless I already know the category. Whatever the reason, if in the beginning you can't put the correct category in the file, then I would advise you not to add categories. @Rupert Pupkin: Yes, I'm everywhere! I amaze myself even. There's hardly a country in the world I haven't touched. But don't ever worry about editing the same file I have. You seem to make very careful edits, while I can be a little impulsive. In fact, I've been speedy deleting some faulty Pakistan categories, made in 2016 when I was a relatively new here. I have no objection to the new cemetery category. However, the name of the cemetery is so generic-sounding that I suspect there are lots of other cemeteries with the same name which may require disambiguation at some point in the future. Hi, I just realized that there were two categories about Passu, Category:Passu and Category:Passu Village. The first one was more integrated and hat subcats so I decided against Passu village. The Arizona Republic has even used my photos on a series of articles about historical buildings and such and they credit me, which is kind-of cool. You know what is kind of funny? I have uploaded hundreds of photos in Wikipedia and have not received one little barnstar for it (smile).

But, it doesn't matter my friend, I write in Wikipedia because I love writing and sharing what I know without expecting any type of recognition. Hi Kalbbes, this one has been a tough nut for me. Was it in Hunza? Or was it closer to the Baltoro region? I could never tell, but I didn't see any evidence to specify the category because the uploader has provided contradicting info. Thanks for putting it on top of my watchlist again. I took the time to check some of the lakes I knew and then I found a picture with a similar perspective to the second one here... I'm still very confused about the geography of Pakistan, and might be giving up in frustration. Not ever having been there, I find it hard to sort out. Subcategories

Hello. Thank you for your editions related to categorization, especially creating missing categories. I really appreciate it. However please try not to put images in a general category when it is already in some of its subcategories. E.g. do not put an image in "Yangon" category when it is already in a category of some temple placed in Yangon (which is a subcategory of Category:Yangon). It's against the guideline.

I personally do not care about this very, but I observe a lot of people that do the thing opposite~to you (following the guideline). So even if not me then someone else will come and revert that edition sooner or later.

Category:Buck Cemetery, Bucksport Maine

I undid a couple of changes you made regarding this category because it is a subcategory of a category for cemeteries of Bucksport (of which there are more than one and I am planning to photograph some of them when I get a chance) which in turn is part of the category Cemeteries of Maine which is broken down into subcategories by town/city and those further broken down by individual cemetery. Just wanted to explain myself on this matter, and hope this explanation makes sense. Thanks.
