Welcome to Wiki Loves Vizag 2024!
Wiki Loves Vizag 2024 is a photography competition to capture the essence of unexplored places in Vizag, covering heritage, culture, calamities, objects, people, agriculture, buildings, bridges, sports, and more.
Concept
[edit]The competition aims to collect images of various aspects of Vizag, showcasing its cultural and natural heritage. Participants are encouraged to capture the diversity of the city, including its monuments, events, and daily life. The scope includes, but is not limited to, images related to buildings, culture and events in Visakhapatnam.
Timeline
[edit]- 15 January 2024 - 14 Febrary 2024
- Deadline for submissions: February 14, 2024, 23:59 IST.
- Results Declaration: around Febrary 28, 2024.
Prizes
[edit]Contestants will receive prizes based on their respective categories:
- Nature of Vizag
- Religious and Colonial Buildings of Visakhapatnam
- Transportation in Vizag
- People of Vizag, Showing its Culture and Heritage
- Buildings (Exterior/Interior) and Bridges of Vizag
- Sports and Events in Vizag
Winners
- There will be 5 winning pictures/videos from every category..!

[edit]The theme calls for photographs and videos files that document all manner of unexplored places in Vizag, covering heritage, culture, calamities, objects like ships, trains, and buses, people involved in cultural activities, places of agriculture, old and new buildings, bridges, and sports events. (Disclaimer: community prize would be given to the independent affiliate/organisation getting top uploads. If there is no winner from Video category in the 'Community Prize', then the amount would be clubbed and given to Community Winner for Photos)
