The user script GeoTools.js adds useful (at least I find them useful) menu entries to the wikimedia menu regarding location utilities and category trees and other helpful stuff.
usage[edit]
Copy the following line to your common.js:

Features vary by namespace.
- Tree ↑
- category parent tree
- Tree ↓(2)
- category children tree (two levels down)
- Tree ↓(3)
- category children tree (three levels down)
- upload to cat
- upload new images to current category
- ⊙ Wikimap (l=2)
- get a wikimap of depth 2 for current category (=current category and 2 subcategory levels) - this is useful to get an overview of all location information in a category and to find deviating locations e.g. for geographical compact regions.

- get a wikimap of depth 0 for current category
- ⊙ on OSM?
- find image / category on OSM. This is useful to identify image locations based on their usage on OSM. Try File:Kreuz auf dem Friedhof von Vorderhornbach.jpg. Heuristic lookup which might find more than the current image.
