No helmet, No fuel in #Silchar the Cachar district administration's recently launched "No Helmet, No Petrol" campaign has forced the bikers to wear helmets to get fuel for their two-wheelers. Cachar Deputy Commissioner S. Viswanathan, IAS, recently issued an order directing petrol pump owners not to sell fuel to motorcyclists who are not wearing helmets.

"No fuelling station is allowed to issue fuel to a biker without a helmet. In case you happen to witness a violation of the order, you can text us with a picture and details. You can also use #DriveSafeSilchar and post the complaint on our Facebook page," reads a poster issued by the Cachar District Administration.
