I completed my PhD in Archaeology at the University of Leicester in 2018.

My PhD research focused on the challenges manifested by converting Late Antique monuments and churches in Ravenna (Italy) into public museums/heritage sites in the nineteenth century, with case studies centring on urban monumentality broadly from Late Antiquity to the present. I have wider research interests in the use/re-use of the past in the present and the reception of historical artwork and monuments in later periods.

I have volunteered with the Brooklyn Museum as an Open Access intern on their Wikimedia Commons project, and for Art UK on their Public Sculpture project.
