Biographical sketch[edit]

I'm the Digital Scholar at Whittier College, where I coordinate the Mellon funded Digital Liberal Arts Center. I have a PhD in English from University of California, Santa Barbara, where I researched global literature, cities, labor, and migration. I was previously a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow of Transnational Cultures and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies at University of California, Los Angeles. I was introduced to Wikipedia editing by Adrianne Wadewitz, at THATCamp Feminisms, adigital humanities unconference, where she led us in a "Feminists Engage Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon." I continue, as much as I can, to attend edit-a-thons in Los Angeles,
