Besides original and remixed art, I use the Wikimedia Commons as a container for the Public Domain books that I scan and help to transcribe. I'm very interested improvements in Hebrew Wikisource's ProofreadPage interface, better support of BIDI (bi-directional) text, support for the TEI XML encoding schema popular in the digital humanities, and use of open source OCR tools (hOCR, tesseract-OCR, etc.‎).‎
