I sometimes upload files via upload.py in Pywikibot.
Pywikibot is primarily a bot software, but it is not a bot upload: I just chose to use this weird software to upload my image. I am sitting in front of my computer, manually using the command to upload it.
I use following command and descriptions when using upload.py.
python3 pwb.py upload -summary:"Created page with [[c:User:-revi/upload.py|upload.py]]" -verbose -lang:commons -family:commons -chunked:"3mb" -filename:"$filename" $file_location
