The 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (ongoing series of stamped envelopes)

The 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is an ongoing series of illustrated postal stationery envelopes issued by the Russian Post and devoted to soldiers and officers of the Red Army who distinguished themselves by gallantry and intrepidity in the battles with German invaders.

The series of postal stationery envelopes started in 2016, as of 24 November 2016 four stamped envelopes of the series were issued; the series will continue.

  23 March 2016 (280). The 100th birth anniversary of Vasily Zaytsev (1915—1991), a legendary Soviet sniper, a hero of the Battle of Stalingrad.

  9 June 2016 (282). The 100th birth anniversary of Lyudmila Pavlichenko (1916—1974), a legendary Soviet sniper, a hero of the Defense of Odessa and of the Defense of Sevastopol.

  23 September 2016 (284). The 100th birth anniversary of Anna Timofeeva (née Yegorova, 1916—2009), a pilot of the Red Army Air Force, a Hero of the Soviet Union.
