Speedy when empty[edit]
What type of pages appeared as false positives? -- User:Docu at 08:47, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't have this on my watchlist I guess. The bot that makes the dated categories that this template is put on, makes the categories a few days in advanced. So they are going to be empty for a few days before it actually gets to that date. Plus a few other minor categories (one was titled something like "possible CC copyvios" or something). - There was a check in place that should prevent it from appearing with future dates. It's the same as on Template:BotMoveToCommonsHeader. -- User:Docu at 01:58, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- That code doesn't work. Trust me, I do a lot of deletions from categories that use this template. After they are emptied, the category doesn't apply the speedy tag from this code. I have no idea why not. Killiondude (talk) 16:42, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- I noticed that you are doing a lot of the deletions. Good work.
- It's a caching issue. The category description page (or the template) needs to be refreshed to recount the number of files in the category. There isn't really a way around this (we could have a bot do that once in a while). -- User:Docu at 08:50, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
