msg-parameter-no[edit]

Please change ''{{{msg-parameter-no|}}}1'' (1) to (1), the rest is superfluous; the same for the other unnamed parameters.--Patrick (talk) 06:30, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done. No documentation on what effect this will have on the template. – Adrignola talk 13:28, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

suppressaddlink[edit]

{{Edit protected}}

Please add |suppressaddlink to the {{Lang links}} reference. This will hide the +- sign which is unnecessary and confusing, since autotranslated templates don't need a /lang subpage. Rd232 (talk) 09:17, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

{{Editprotected}} While a sysop myself I find the logic of this template too complex and I preferr not to break anything. I'd like to know if in the user group field 'OTRS-members', 'oversighters' and 'stewards' could be added, as they're currently missing. Others like 'autopatrolled', 'patroller' and 'rollbacker' may be added too. Thanks. --Marco Aurelio (disputatio) 22:43, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem, though all the localization subpages will need updating as well. Are there many templates that need this? If it's just a handful, it may be easier to just write it on the individual template documentation. Rd232 (talk) 23:23, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
They're not so much, yes. If it's gonna be a fuss then I think it's better not to do it. --Marco Aurelio (disputatio) 15:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done. Message can be adjusted in TemplateBox/lcid but are already i18n ed using {{int:mw-msg}}. E.g. {{int:Group-Image-reviewer}} results in ⧼Group-Image-reviewer⧽. -- RE rillke questions? 16:47, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Strange behaviour[edit]

While I often created template descriptions with TemplateBox, I get a funny template loop with {{Wt}} examples. I cannot localize where it comes from. Everywhere in the documentation subpage itself not «Wt» is referenced but «Wt/doc» instead. You may see it at {{Wt/doc}}. The template is well documented and not affected but the document subpage is in error.

t seems to result from creating the documentation prior to saving the template. -- sarang사랑 09:21, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request - fix typo[edit]

{{Edit request}} There is a typo that should read 25 instead of 15. Please search for the following text: {{#if: {{{15|}}} | and replace it where it is out of order (i.e., the one below where it says {{#if: {{{24|}}} |, not the one below {{#if: {{{14|}}} |). Magog the Ogre (talk) 17:53, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are there more of those? Thank you. -- RE rillke questions? 19:26, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe; I haven't found any though. Magog the Ogre (talk) 20:11, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request for {{{msg-usage|}}} section[edit]

{{Edit request}} Could somebody remove the text Template: from the code {{Must be substituted|page=Template:{{{name|}}}}} under the section == {{{msg-usage|}}} ==? It causes the template's "page" link to point to pages starting with "Template:Template:" instead of just "Template:". (See Template:Filedesc's documentation for an example of incorrect linking.) CabbagePotato (talk) 02:56, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MediaWiki:Grouppage-OTRS-member[edit]

{{edit request|technical=yes}}

Code {{int:Grouppage-OTRS-member}} is generate invalid link to unexist page in Commons (variative depending from the interface language). See ⧼Grouppage-OTRS-member⧽ as example.

Currently, for Russian lahguege is created redirect to Commons:OTRS/ru, for Makedonian was created local message MediaWiki:Grouppage-OTRS-member/mk leading to Commons:OTRS/mk.

In my opinion, need to replace this code to Commons:OTRS directly or to next code:

{{#ifexist:Commons:OTRS/{{int:lang}}|Commons:OTRS/{{int:lang}}|Commons:OTRS}}

After that MediaWiki:Grouppage-OTRS-member/mk and Commons:Члены OTRS may be deleted.--Kaganer (talk) 16:14, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

While I agree that this change would make sense on Commons, Commons:OTRS is not directly about the global user group, instead it's about the procedure. Commons:Global OTRS group explains what the user group is. -- Rillke(q?) 00:53, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've chosen to fix this in the most expedient manner: I've added a local override for {{int:Grouppage-OTRS-member}} at MediaWiki:Grouppage-OTRS-member for all of the page names at Commons:Global OTRS group which are different from the page names at translatewiki.net's Grouppage-OTRS-member translations. —RP88 (talk) 06:21, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
