Regarding neutrality in template[edit]

I believe that this template clearly breaks Wikimedia Commons' guidelines, specifically COM:NPOV since the template makes an opinion by stating that Russian militarist symbols support or glorify aggression wars or aggressive conduct. Wikimedia Commons should not state that Russia's war is of aggression, particularly since there's people who believe otherwise and state that it is a defensive war. "or another party of advocating or glorifying wars of aggression or aggressive conduct." should simply be removed and replaced with "or another party advocating or glorifying armed conflicts regarding Russia.". It absolutely is a war of aggression according to international law, and this symbol has already been banned by multiple countries. Spafky (talk) 21:49, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If it is according to international law, it should be specified - otherwise readers will believe this is an opinion: there are ongoing arguments about the justifications for the conflict. I'd suggest saying "glorifying wars of aggression or aggresive conduct according to (power which says so: national laws, the international court of justice, a judge, etc.)" I'm not arguing whether if the symbol is banned or not - I don't know about the legality of these symbols, but either way that wouldn't be an opinion, it'd be a fact (or should be, unless the law isn't clear enough!). -- Aimarekin (talk) 22:00, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
