Include reuse warning?[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Shouldn't this contain a {{Trademark}}/{{Personality rights}}-like warning about potential reuse restrictions? Suggested wording, borrowing from said templates and Commons:When_to_use_the_PD-signature_tag#Reuse_of_signature_images:

Signatures are usually protected by laws regarding fraud such as forgery and counterfeiting. Before using this content, please ensure that it is legal to use it under the laws which apply in the circumstances of your intended use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not violate such laws. See our general disclaimer.

I suggest including it here rather than as a separate template because it's seriously unlikely for someone to release their signature under a free license. --Cybercobra (talk) 09:53, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. {{Editprotected}} is for changes that have consensus. Get consensus and also translations for all languages this template is in and then we can go ahead. – Adrignola talk 19:36, 26 August 2011 (UTC)![reply]

Remove warning[edit]

It is requested that an edit or modification be made to this protected page.
Administrators/template editors: Please apply <nowiki> or {{Tl}} to the tag after the request is fulfilled.

I created a new template ({{Signature warning}}) that replaces the reuse warning shown on the template, which I don't think worked anyway. Please remove the warning and use {{Signature warning}} when appropriate. funplussmart (talk) 23:14, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
