PD-two[edit]

@AntiCompositeNumber: Which other templates does using {{PD-two}} break? The special thing about this template is that it accounts for the copyright situation both in the country of origin (Hungary) and the US, while most copyright templates only consider either of them. The current version proved not to be clear enough about the US situation (discussion in Hungarian). If you have better suggestion on how to make the US copyright situation clearer, please do implement it, but I’m also curious where this template actually broke. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 00:18, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tacsipacsi: {{PD-art}}, it was an autotranslate loop. That caused the license template to not display on dozens of files. Furthermore, there's a very good reason that most PD templates don't include the US tag as well: {{PD-1996}} does not cover all situations (a work published in Hungary and the US without a copyright notice is not {{PD-1996}}, it is {{PD-US-no-notice}}). Uploaders should be required to explicitly add the correct templates, just like with any other PD template. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 01:13, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
