Template talk:Media of the day
Language bug?[edit]
In this file the template has been used in the {{Information}} box in the "Description" field. I somehow deleted all the other text in this field. It seems to be a Language problem. I use German as default language, the other in the text description field is English so it was not shown. Please check this version:
Is is fine when the Template chooses its own language, but is shoud (in my oppinion) not act on the rest of the page. Greetings Jahobr (talk) 13:35, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Suggestion: Use future tense when in the future[edit]
Currently it say "it was captured as follows", even when it was not yet shown as a media of the day. Perhaps it should say "it was selected" and "it will be captured" when the date is in the future? ℺ Gone Postal (〠 ✉ • ✍ ⏿) 06:54, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Bug: Some languages are not shown[edit]
I cannot figure out what happens exactly, and it does seem very random. Sometimes some languages are not shown. For example: File:20200329 - Manchester - Short film about Coronavirus.webm shows only English and British English for me, despite Russian and Czech translations. Is there any particular reason for this? Is there a world around? ℺ Gone Postal (〠 ✉ • ✍ ⏿) 11:32, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
