Deep green?[edit]

Is a very nice and useful map! I wonder if a dark-green category "OK including public interiors" (Austria, Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland (?), UK) would make it even more informative or would be too much detail? --Elekhh (talk) 03:32, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like a good idea to me! You can mark the countries in the map by opening the SVG in a text editor, creating a new CSS class in addition to the existing ones and moving the appropriate countries (their codes) to the new class. Feel free to adjust the colour scheme as you see fit, too. Or if you'd rather like me do the modifications, then let me know. —Quibik (talk) 20:12, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I hope is correct, and useful. I only added countries where FOP in interiors is explicitly stated, and applies to all art forms (i.e. excludes Finland, where it applies to buildings only and Switzerland where appears to be disputed). --Elekhh (talk) 00:01, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Slovenia: update[edit]

Please correct Slovenia to be red-coloured. Per Commons:FOP#Slovenia, public works that are still copyrighted (the author died in 1945 or later) can't be photographed for non-commercial use. --Eleassar (t/p) 07:48, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

En:wp[edit]

The Europe section of w:Freedom of panorama could use this templated map. It is beyoud my skills to include it over there though. Are there plans to make Asia and America ones as well?--Canoe1967 (talk) 17:14, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Overcomplicated[edit]

I think the recent addition of a new category (Blue) for Netherlands is confusing and overcomplicates the map, making it harder to read. FOP in the Netherlands is somewhere between light and dark green. So why not have it in green, and simply add a note to the key that the definition of "public space" varies between countries? Otherwise if one becomes so meticulous we could end up with each country in a different colour and the whole map perfectly useless. --ELEKHHT 22:14, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
