Backlog reports[edit]

      • Action can consist of 4 things I can think of:
        Pass the request to SieBot
Remove the rename request because it is nonsense or it is disputed already on the talk page
Support the rename request at the talk page
Oppose the rename request at the talk page
      • Deciding factors should IMO be common sense for quick decisions and at least some support in case of more sensitive renames. Mass renames should in general be taken to COM:CFD and be handled by SieBot at User:CommonsDelinker/commands. If you need help, let me know. Cheers! Siebrand 18:25, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I have added all of them now. Thank you! Please, if you notice other backlogs, mention them here. And I won't forbid you from adding it yourself either.

I removed the notice of 50,000+ images in images without source. I looked at the categori but it is not manageable. Many images are already tagged with a no source template so there's nothing else that can be done with them, and it doesn't make sense that users have to look at those same images over and over.

But please, do continue to mention all backlog problems.

Deletion requests[edit]

There's only one deletion request still open for October, but lots for November. Any object to me updating the announcement? Quadell (talk) 14:58, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please, go ahead. / Fred J (talk) 14:59, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to October and November. This announcer should, IMO, preferably be used to draw attention to those things where any admin could dodge in and reduce the backlog. The single deletion request from September ("Rachmaninoff recordings from Pandora Records") is IMO not of that kind. / Fred J (talk) 15:46, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DRs of September 2008 are done[edit]

Hi, I just took the freedom to update this template in regard to the oldest months with open DRs. As September 2008 was just finished, I removed it and added December 2008 instead. --AFBorchert (talk) 06:36, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
