I integrated subsites for de en and es and so it is easy over the /lang subsite to make new translation. I hope for some more input! HBR (talk) 22:49, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

less pictures in category

To make it more easy to find pictures witch someone knows, it should be possible to make subcategorys in the category:locations possible, like germany oder japan and so on. i would like to do this with a parameter. can someone help to implement this? HBR (talk) 02:39, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

If the country or place is already known and present in any of the categories, you could use CatScan:

Germany

Japan

tools:~para/GeoCommons/geocodingtodo.php is another option. In Special:Preferences (Gadges), you can have a link to the tool added to all categories. -- User:Docu at 05:01, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Some bug with non-ASCII characters

Hello, I uploaded File:Kochertalbrücke01crop 2011-04-17.jpg and then used

 http://toolserver.org/~multichill/coordinates.php?template=location&wiki=commons.wikimedia.org&page=File:Kochertalbr%C3%BCcke01crop_2011-04-17.jpg

but I get the error message

Wikimedia Commons does not yet have a media file called Kochertalbrücke01crop 2011-04-17.jpg.

Toolserver status is SNAFU, and other toolserver scripts have up-to-date content. Might there be an Umlaut problem in the script? -- KlausFoehl (talk) 12:53, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
