This template needs a dose of {{Autotranslate}}. --Dschwen (talk) 03:53, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done Of course. Lot to do, not much time :P Multichill (talk) 10:17, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This template is not used on images like that one : File:Johann Georg von Einsiedel.jpg. It's PD-old-100. I see PD parameters in the template. Is there any way to make the image page use the template, but with a Pd-old-100 replacing the CC-BY-SA, so that it use the same system, and have the thingy that say This file was provided to Wikimedia Commons by the Deutsche Fotothek of the Saxon State Library (SLUB) as part of a cooperation project. The Deutsche Fotothek guarantees an authentic representation only by using copies of the original images as provided by the Digital Image Archive. ?
If done, also modify the uplaod bot to use it ?--Lilyu (talk) 03:24, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, meanwhile, i found out i could add {{Autotranslate|base=Fotothek-License}} manually :)
A template solution might be more effective, thought--Lilyu (talk) 03:45, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i tried something,; it looks like it works. i tested it first with a fake template from my talk page, on my talk page, and on this picture : File:Johann Georg von Einsiedel.jpg.

It works like that :

  • {{Fotothek-License}} will display by default the Cc-by-sa-3.0-de‎ license tag.
  • {{Fotothek-License|license=''license tag code''}} will display any valid license tag.

Example :

  • {{Fotothek-License|license=PD-old-100}} will display :
Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 100 years or fewer.

You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States.

i wrote also a message on the project talk page--Lilyu (talk) 05:25, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe we can simplify it by changing the code so that we can just use it like this : {{Fotothek-License|''license tag code''}} . It just depends if we are sure there will be no more parameters.--Lilyu (talk) 06:57, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
