Hi, I noticed you recently updated Template:Image generation but there are a lot of errors when this template renders messages in Italian. I cannot correct them by myself, so I'm asking for help.

1. First of all, "Questa grafica vettoriale è stata creata con Inkscape, or something else." that "or something else" should be "o con qualche altro programma.";
2. When an SVG image created with Inkscape is invalid. this message appears: "Questa non W3C-valido grafica vettoriale è stata creata con Inkscape, or something else." It should be: "Questa grafica vettoriale non è valida secondo il W3C ed è stata creata con Inkscape, o con qualche altro programma.";
3. When an SVG image created with another tool is invalid, a strange message appears: "This W3C-invalid vector image was created with un altro programma SVG." It should be: "Questa immagine vettoriale non è valida secondo il W3C ed è stata creata con un altro programma SVG."

Hi Carnby, thank you for your information. The problems result from the fact that some parts are from (more or less) well translatetd messages that are there since long, and some textual supplements that I made just in English and not in all >50 languages. Sorry, many messages are only in English! I remember that you helped me in March 2015 with Created with/it. BTW, one topic is translated "quest'icona", another one "questo emblema"; is that correct?

The "or something else" describes a failure that needs maintenance, and it will disappear when all the failures are repaired. Unfortunately there are 14730 files without a tool specified; changing all to Inkscape is not such a good idea, because an unknown number is made with "somethong else".

The very strange message

With the demo {{Created with ...}} I just detected " This oversized W3C-uncheckable signature was created with un altro programma."

I will have to search where it comes from, but this I will repair soon that it will display correct in all languages, e.g. in it

"Questa firma non specificata secondo il W3C è stata creata con un altro programma."

Thank you! As for "quest'icona" and "questo emblema" are concerned I would say "this icon" = "quest'icona", "this coat of arms" = "questo stemma", "this emblem" = "questo emblema". Which was the original?--Carnby (talk) 12:38, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

Thanx, ​ I had not been sure about Italian and I saw it in Igen/top (please don't edit that template, it is too often used). In French it is "cette icône" and "ce logotype" – but "cet insigne" when a masculine gender starts with a vowel... -- sarang♥사랑 13:05, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi Carnby, if you want it changed, you may do it. You know that there are several parameters, as

1. Questa/Questo/Quest’
2. grossa/grosso
3. non è valida/valido
4. non è verificabile
5. è stata creata/è stato creato
6. con tool
