Please, replace [[Category:{{{2}}}{{{3}}} in transport|Canada]] with {{#ifexist: Category:{{{2}}}{{{3}}} in transport by country | [[Category:{{{2}}}{{{3}}} in transport by country|Canada]] | [[Category:{{{2}}}{{{3}}} in transport|Canada]] }}. - Done. It might take awhile for the template to kick in for existing Hamilton categories already using it, but it should work right away for new ones. I also made the corresponding change to the CanadaDecade template. I inadvertently transposed the Calgary and Hamilton flags -- I corrected the error, but sometimes it takes awhile for the corrected form to kick in (just in case you see the Calgary flag). --Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:27, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Quirkiness with sport categories[edit]
This template creates incorrect summary text for generic sport categories. For example, Category:1879 in sports in Canada states "Media related to ice hockey..." and "Médias liés au hockey...", which is obviously wrong. Mindmatrix 14:23, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
Automatic Categorisation under "Category:YEAR maps"[edit]
Hi, an automatic categorisation under "Category:YEAR maps" (e.g: Category:2010 maps) becomes difficult. There are now two better subcategories:

Automatic Categorisation under "Category:YEAR works in Canada"[edit]
This case is universelle, because not all maps of one year are works from this year. Much more they show informations from this year (Category:Maps showing 2010) and just some of them are also created in this year (Category:Maps created in 2010).

Construction categories[edit]
The template categorizes construction under "year events in Canada"? I understand event as a happening or incident. Construction is a long process - it might involve events such as different ceremonies or accidents. Estormiz (talk) 18:53, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
