Direct transclusion?[edit]

@Zolo: Is there any reason not to use this template directly, e.g. on a file page, without an intermediate template? Thanks, --Marsupium (talk) 07:17, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Marsupium: it sounds more sensical to use it through an intermediate template, but I don't know how to find direct transclusions of a template, so I am not sure. Zolo (talk) 12:32, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Zolo: I've used it that way for i18n at Category:Tulips (Koons, Hanover). --Marsupium (talk) 12:43, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, having a dedicated template for the series makes it easier to find all images from the series, and should also make migration to Wikidata easier, but if we have only a few works available for the series, I suppose it's ok to use it directly. --Zolo (talk) 12:49, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank you for your control! I've adapted the documentation accordingly. --Marsupium (talk) 14:13, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
