Guidance re syntax 1 vs syntax 2

Hello all- Unless I'm missing something, there is no information or link provided on the template page to aid users in determining whether a given file has metadata on Wikidata. Does anyone know how to determine that? I think it would help to add guidance. Eric ^talk 15:51, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

Eric I just noticed your question. If a file is connected to Wikidata than it always has a title bar with Wikidata logo, which you can click. --Jarekt (talk) 03:46, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

Ther is a problem with the property 3D model using this template

The size of 3D model that is taken automatically to wikimedia from the 3D model property at wikidata is not reasonable and without controll.

Too bad! Maybe best approach as long as it persists would be dropping 3D model (P4896) or excluding it from the gallery and just add a link to those files? --Marsupium (talk) 19:59, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Couple of errors with the template

- "Location" on Wikidata shows up under "Collection" on Commons

- Inscription is not rendered correctly on Commons

I agree that those both are bugs, thanks for pointing them out!

1. I think the problem with the location needs a bit of work. The responsible code line is this one. It is connected to the issue raised at Module talk:Wikidata art#Collection, current location - Getty Center, J. Paul Getty Museum.
2. Fixed on Template:Inscription/style (diff).

3d picture too big
