Edit request[edit]

{{editprotected}}

Please remove the single instance of [[Media:{{PAGENAME}}|]] but leave "This file" and similar localized text. The function is not needed inside the visible text, a link back from a license template to the file in question is not required by the CC license. It has also been removed from most of the main license templates, be it GFDL or CC. --Denniss (talk) 23:29, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request for autotranslation[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Could this template be autotranslated? The only thing that has to be done is to replace the actual template with {{autotranslate|base=Agência Brasil}}, furthermore you should add {{{category|{{#ifeq:{{NAMESPACE}}|File|[[Category:Photographs by Agencia Brasil|{{PAGENAME}}]]}}}}}, to make sure that only files will be categorized. Thank you. --The Evil IP address (talk) 11:52, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I fear, that it will end up in some template loops, but I will test it. --Martin H. (talk) 17:53, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, no template loop because Template:Cc-by-2.5-br is not autotranslated. If this becomes autotranslated there can be a template loop on inclusions of Agencia Brasil template with the template "autotranslate". --Martin H. (talk) 18:15, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Something got wrong[edit]

The documentation is rendering inside the template. could someone fix it?

thanks, tales.ebner 19:03, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Someone added {{Documentation}} to Template:Cc-by-2.5-br without paying attention to the noinclude tag. Should be fixed soon. --Denniss (talk) 00:19, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. We will however have a problem if cc-by-2.5-br is setted to autotranslate, it isnt yet. A template loop for the template autotranslate will occur. If there is no better sollution the license template should be removed out of the Template:Agência Brasil/layout template and directly put on this base template. --Martin H. (talk) 02:09, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}}

We now have a template loop here with the autotranslation of cc-by-2.5-br. Please fix. --Denniss (talk) 20:15, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed Template loop fixed (hopefully) by moving cc-by-2.5-br from Template:Agência Brasil/layout to Template:Agência Brasil as suggested by Martin H.. --Jarekt (talk) 15:43, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template protection[edit]

I raised protection of Template:Agência Brasil/layout from none to autoconfirmed users only. Template:Agência Brasil is fully protected, but I did not gave Template:Agência Brasil/layout the same level of protection, since I moved the {{Cc-by-2.5-br}} back to Template:Agência Brasil and the layout subpage is more of an information page than license page now. --Jarekt (talk) 15:53, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Logo?[edit]

Does Agência Brasil have a logo? Source templates usually have one, like Template:Fotothek-License/layout for example. --Jarekt (talk) 15:55, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please update the template[edit]

The initial page of Agência Brasil website now shows a CC BY 2.0 license. --viniciusmc (talk) 16:57, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Eh ? Don’t. If licence terms change, we have to create a new template. Like this, all files previously uploaded and tagged are mis-licensed. Jean-Fred (talk) 15:18, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
They changed it again to 2.5, now its consistent with the old licensing. --Martin H. (talk) 13:35, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And they did it again - now it's cc-by-3.0/br. Shall we wait if they change their mind again, shall we just update the templates to the newer CC version or do we need a new template ? --Denniss (talk) 03:23, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}}

It's been 6 months nearly since you posted that - We need to change it now, since the information we're currently showing is incorrect. We change the template when they change their license, and since it's currently listed, as Denniss says, as CC-BY-3.0/br, it needs to read the same. Specifically - "Todo o conteúdo deste site está publicado sob a Licença Creative Commons Atribuição 3.0 Brasil. - All content on this site is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Brasil License." BarkingFish (talk) 20:58, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Complete license is now "Todo o conteúdo deste site está publicado sob a Licença Creative Commons Atribuição 3.0 Brasil exceto quando especificado em contrário e nos conteúdos replicados de outras fontes" (= new). The old license was still active in 09.2012 (archive). Gunnex (talk) 20:23, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Surplus line-break[edit]

{{editrequest}} If this template is put on a non-filepage the {{iffile}} part doesn't output anything – except a blank line which produces surplus whitespace. Therefore the line break in front of the category parameter should be removed. --Patrick87 (talk) 22:11, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request: CC BY 3.0 BR is gone, only non-commercial use/reproduction is allowed now[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Hi! Per above. Check http://agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br/ and terms of use http://www.ebc.com.br/termos-de-uso-e-condicoes-gerais-do-portal-da-ebc:

Considering a wayback from 23.02.2017 (CC-BY-3.0 BR indication still there) and a wayback from the next day 24.02.2017 (CC-BY-3.0 BR advice removed), all uploads from Agência Brasil since 24.02.2017 are most likely NOT compatibel with COM:L, considering also the terms of use:

--> = only non-commercial use is allowed

1e: "Reprodução autorizada mediante indicação da fonte." --> only reproduction (citing the source) is allowed.

--> all content of "Portal EBC" is copyrighted.

On 29.03.2017 (or 28.03.2017), Agência Brasil finally added "Reprodução autorizada mediante indicação da fonte." to the site. Affected are also also {{EBC}}, {{TV Brasil}} and maybe other related templates. Gunnex (talk) 22:13, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's very sad, and my conclusion is the same as yours, it's clearly nonfree. ~nmaia d 18:01, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A quick note: while photos taken after 23.02.2017 should be removed, photos merely uploaded after 23.02.2017 shouldn't. Because there's no way to verify whether the uploader is using an archived version of the website to extract the images, for example. ~nmaia d 18:04, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Flickr of Agência Brasil republish with free license[edit]

I was browsing Flickr and I noticed that Agência Brasil went back to publishing images under free license. How should we proceed from now on?

Edit request on license[edit]

{{Edit request}} The date of change should be 25 February 2017, because the terms of use page on 24 February still with the cc-by-3.0-br license. --219.79.97.200 04:22, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done Per the section above. The main page lost the compatible licensing statement on February 24th. Due to the ambiguity of the situation we are going to have to go with the most restrictive version. Which is what the template currently is. --Majora (talk) 01:27, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Erick Soares3

Hi! I thought about going on the Agência Brasil history to see how its license changed across time. I wonder: would it be possible to make the template acknowledge all these changes? Example: {{Agência Brasil|date=YYY-MM-DD}} (necessiting, at least, the "Year"). These changes will be useful for memoria.ebc.com.br/agenciabrasil/ (with images dating since 2003):

Attribution

1.2001/2 until 2005: "Fotografias": "Photographs of official events are available through Agência Brasil and can be used, free of charge, as long as the source is acknowledged."

All articles may be reproduced provided the source is cited.). The img.radiobras.gov.br gives: "Todas as fotos poderão ser reproduzidas desde que citada a fonte e o nome do repórter" (All photos may be reproduced provided the source and the reporter's name are mentioned)

CC

3.2006 until April 27, 2011: CC-BY-2.5-BR

4.30 April 2011 until 2017: 3.0 Brazil

And everything since 2017 is Non Commercial (would be moved to speed deletion/or deletion by consensus, unless it is an specific case like this one).

Thanks, Erick Soares3 (talk) 13:55, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Grato, André Koehne TALK TO ME 01:08, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

—Teles «Talk to me ˱C L @ S˲» 21:35, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 22:20, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
—Teles «Talk to me ˱C L @ S˲» 22:29, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 12:25, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 12:35, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@André Koehne Somete a página do gov.br está sob Creative Commons Atribuição-SemDerivações 3.0 Não Adaptada. Erick Soares3 (talk) 13:03, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 13:08, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 13:12, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 13:21, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 13:32, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
André Koehne TALK TO ME 13:35, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Erick Soares3 (talk) 13:38, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
