First letter[edit]

artist1 {{after|artist2}} makes "artist1 After artist2". Small initial letter for "after" would be helpful. Greetz! Bukk (talk) 10:57, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine. You can always adjust the initial letter using {{Ucfirst: {{After|...}} }}. Vincent Steenberg (talk) 13:35, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Italiano[edit]

Italian translation is wrong. The right is simply "da".--Zanekost (talk) 14:29, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Use as a date template and not a citation one[edit]

This model is problematic because in English, "after" can both mean "past this date" (e.g. "after 1945") and "according to" ("after Einstein, e=mc²"). In other languages, this does not always translate well. In French, "after" is "après" for the date and "d'après" for "according to". In Italian, it is "dopo" for the date and "secondo" for "according to". Could we have another model so that the two are distinguished? Ideally, we need something like {{Before}}. Thanks! This template is specifically for the sense "according to Artist", with the equivalent expression in the different languages. The template and parameter for the other sense (date) is "Other date|after|". -- Asclepias (talk) 17:27, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Asclepias Thank you! It's not the most straightforward, but that will do. Skimel (talk) 13:00, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
