Template:User gender

Usage

The template should be placed on the user page. It automatically recognizes the gender of the user as specified in user preferences, and returns one of the following three results:

Gender is set to:	{{User gender}} displays:
Male	This user is male.
Female	This user is female.
Unspecified	?This user is neither female nor male, or has not specified a gender in user preferences.

Parameters

• username: optional, defaults to {{ROOTPAGENAME}}
• nocat: optional, set to yes if the template shouldn't add categories
