Because this photograph is an unoriginal reproduction of a 2D public domain work, in many jurisdictions the photograph itself is ineligible for copyright protection and can be considered in the public domain as well. Usage

This template was created for use by the Wikipedia Loves Art project. It can be added to any photograph or scan that is explicitly released under a free license, but would also qualify for the {{PD-Art}} tag due to the public domain status of the original work.

Note: This tag must be accompanied with a valid free license tag. If the no free license is given, use the {{PD-Art}} tag instead of this one.
