This is a reproduction of a unit of currency that is or was in use in Peru. Some desings are is now in the public domain in Peru, because according to the Law 13714 (1961) its term of copyright has expired after 15-25 years from the date of publication or public presentation as a case where the work belongs to a legal personality and they are not renewed by D.L. 822. These are the already expired designs:
Banknotes/coins designed after December 31, 1980 renewed under D.L. 822: The Central Reserve Bank of Peru holds the copyright on the banknotes/coins called "Nuevo Sol" (today Sol). All original banknotes/coins designed after December 31, 1990 will be deleted as a {{Copyvio}}. But, the status of previous currency Inti is unknown. See COM:CRT/Peru#Currency for more information. |
