Goal
This template automatically assigns the correct parent categories to the categories People of [U.S. State].
Usage
The synthax of the template is:
{{People of the United States by state|U.S. state}}
which automatically places the category under the parent categories:
[[Category:U.S. state]][[Category:People of the United States by state|U.S. state]]
Example
{{People of the United States by state|New York}}
is equivalent to:
[[Category:New York]][[Category:People of the United States by state|New York]]
