Invalid original wording of this template: This Austrian photograph is in the public domain because it was either: published prior to 1932, or created before 1932 and not published for 20 years thereafter. The Austrian copyright law of 1936 specified a copyright duration of 20 years after publication for all photographs. The copyright law of 1953 was not retroactive (see Art. II s. 3), so all photographic works whose copyright had expired by 1953 are in the public domain.
