Purpose

This template has been created as a metadata "ingestion template" to support batch uploads from the New York Public Library release of maps. In 2014 the NYPL announced the release of 20,000 maps on a CC0 license.[2]

The fields in this template have been named to map directly to NYPL standard metadata fields. This template applies the standard {{Information}} template.
