imageImage?yes if file is an image. Automatically links to the JPEG and TIFF files at Photojournal.emptyoptional
videoVideo?yes if file is a video. Requires link parameter to link to the video source at Photojournal.emptyoptional
animationAnimation?yes if file is a .gif animation. Requires link parameter to link to the animation source at Photojournal.emptyoptional
missionMissionName of the mission that produced the given media. Invokes the mission insignia and a wikilink to the mission's en.wikipedia page in the attribution box.emptyrequired
instrumentInstrumentName of the instrument used to produce the given media. Invokes a credit and link to the team's website in the attribution box.emptyoptional
captionOriginal captionFile description, typically taken from the Photojournal source page.emptyrequired
creditImage creditCredit and/or copyright for the image, copied directly from the "Image Credit" field on the Photojournal source page.emptyrequired

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory manages the 2001 Mars Odyssey mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate, Washington, D.C. The Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) was developed by Arizona State University, Tempe, in collaboration with Raytheon Santa Barbara Remote Sensing. The THEMIS investigation is led by Dr. Philip Christensen at Arizona State University. Lockheed Martin Astronautics, Denver, is the prime contractor for the Odyssey project, and developed and built the orbiter. Mission operations are conducted jointly from Lockheed Martin and from JPL, a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.}}
