This template allows to specify localizable acronyms for different eras. Meant as a helper template to {{Other date}}.

Usage

Template parameters

Parameter	Description		Default	Status
1	Era: for dates before birth of Christ use BC (Before Christ), BCE (Before Common Era) for dates  after  birth of Christ use AD (Anno Domini) or CE (Common Era) use BP for Before Present years use AH for dates in Islamic calendar		empty	required
2	date		empty	required
lang	language code (only needs to be provided if the language shall be fixed and independent of the user's preferences)		language code of the user language	optional
