Placed in the category description, the template adds a (collapsed) box with links to find media to add or remove from the category.

New fields should be added if needed. The various links added by users in this template can be used to develop tools for category maintenance and eventually replace it.

Usage

Template parameters

Parameter	Description		Default	Status
categorize	to paste link(s) to Search or CatScan to find additional files to add to this category. Sample		empty	optional
categorize_todo	Details of what to do with the results. Can be used to note, e.g., false positives. Sample. "_todo" can be added to most other field names below to add such text.		empty	optional
term	word generally used for the subject of the category (generally identical with the category title)		empty	optional
syn	synonyms and alternate spellings for the word in "term". Creates search links to find media using these an not the value in "lang=". Multiple values can be combined with "OR". If there are several values and the term consists of several words enclose each with round brackets.		empty	optional

searchmanual	value "y" adds a link to search for files included directly in the category (rather than through the template). These should generally be removed from the category when the category should only be populated through a template. sample		empty	optional
