- Usage
- Use this template to add a reference to a species on the web site avibase.bsc-eoc.org called Avibase by providing the species id on Avibase.
- Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{Taxoconflict}}, {{Taxa}}, {{Genera}}, {{Genera2}}, {{Species}}, {{Species2}} or {{Subspecies}} with parameter "source=Avibase" (See here the different values for source)

- How to retrieve the id: In the url http://avibase.bsc-eoc.org/species.jsp?lang=FR&avibaseid=F7504353640C1055 the id is F7504353640C1055

- name
- The name of the taxon (without italic)
- Sample (for Thalasseus sandvicensis): Thalasseus sandvicensis
- author
- The taxon's authority
- Sample (for Thalasseus sandvicensis): Latham, 1787
- checks=no (optional)
- This template compares the parameter <speciesId> with the property P2026 stored in wikidata (Not in case nv is provided because taxon is not valid).
- When different, a maintenance category is added.
- checks=no disables this test when {{Avibase}} does not describe the taxon described in wikidata (Happens when there are multiple call to {{Avibase}} on the same category/gallery, mainly in monotypic taxons)
